I haven't been to the lake district since 2018 and on my last visit the conditions were poor so I've been longing to take another trip. This was just a short weekend trip, which is definitely not enough time to explore this location. I visited Blea Tarn, an area that I had not visited on my last trip but I had heard great things about this location. This was my sunrise location and I didn't get the sunrise that I was hoping for but the breath taking scenery made up for that. I could have spent the whole day here!
Buttermere was my second a location and an area I visited on my last trip but again the weather was poor at the time so I wanted to try to capture some better images. This wasn't my sunset location but wanted to capture there area with some golden light. I managed to capture some images and in particular the classic image of the lone tree. Unfortunately time was not on my side to stay for sunset as my next location was Crow Park.
Crow Park was another location that I had not visited and this is another one of those honey pot locations that I had to visit. I was blessed with some amazing colours and light and it was definitely a great choice for sunset. My final destination was and Wast Water and again the weather did not play ball and gale force winds and heavy rain was the order of the day. However, this did not stop me on capturing one of my favourite images of the trip.
I had a great time and would love to have more time to travel around this amazing location but managed to capture some memorable images. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed capturing them.
I hope you enjoyed the images and if you would like to see more of my adventures please do follow me on my social media pages
