I have been a professional wedding and event photographer for many years before I started my journey into landscape photography. I've always had an interest in long exposure photography so a lot of my leisure photography was capturing cityscapes around London. In the next few blogs I wanted to take a look back at some of my earlier trips and share them with you as I haven't always had the opportunity to share these images in the form of these photography blogs.
I always wanted to visit Scotland as my first major trip and in particular Glencoe as I had heard so much about the area as being a landscape photographers paradise. As a novice this seemed like an ideal location to start my journey into landscape photography. I did some research and scouted some of the more popular locations in the area and headed off to the mountains. Upon arrival it was everything I had expected it to be and more, it was truly magical and I even managed to squeeze in a visit to the world famous Loch Ness. Here are some of the images I captured over a long weekend in the Highlands in March of 2017, it was a great learning curve for a beginner.
I hope you enjoyed the images and if you would like to see more of my adventures please do follow me on my social media pages
